Meet Our Pastor & First Lady
Rev. Dr. Rodger D. Tyler & Sis. Loretta Tyler
Dr. Tyler was born in Eudora, Choctaw County, Mississippi. He graduated from Choctaw County High School in 1969 and Wood Junior College in 1971. He then moved to California later that year and met the love of his life, Loretta. They married in 1972 and God blessed them with 5 children.
Dr. Tyler served in the choir and Youth department at Progressive when God called him into the Gospel ministry in 1976. God saw fit to use him to pastor at Mt. Olive Baptist Church for 32 years.
