Deaconess board

Our mission is to support the Pastor and Deacons vision to make the church environment better for the church body, both naturally and spiritually; and to make the Pastor's job easier. [Acts 6:3-4]

To serve the Lord by conducting the caring ministry of the church by doing the work of benevolence, visiting the sick, being alert to the needs of the congregation, freeing the Pastor to focus on the prayer and ministry of the Word of God, thus facilitating the spread of the Gospel and promoting unity within the church.

The word DEACONESS means "servant."

The Deaconesses are knowledgable, devoted women who serve the Lord and His people through support, providing spiritual care and acts of love. Deaconesses are specialists in sacred care. They visit church members, assist with the Baptismal ceremony and assist with communion for worship services.

This also includes the Mothers and Ministers' Wives. We are all responsible for the welfare of our church.
